Sebastian Perez from Chef Seabones
My name is Sebastian Perez. I got into food blogging accidentally to be quite honest. I only intended for my Chef Seabones account to be a portfolio for myself, friends and family. In the beginning it went quite slow and i didn't really use it, however as time went on people began following and my followers accumulated quite rapidly which made me switch up what i was doing. I became more health oriented, focused more on visual aesthetics and began sharing recipes.
I wouldn't say I'm restricted by any of these eating styles. I have always enjoyed food and i've never focused too much on certain diets. If I were to pick one though it would probably be Paleo as i feel you have more variety with that as opposed to the others.
FUN FACT ABOUT SEBASTIAN:
I was born in Denmark and have lived in Switzerland and Australia. I've lived in New York City for the past 10 or so years. I completed my schooling (up until high school) across 3 different continents. Recently obtained a Bachelor degree in International Marketing.
Burgers, Hot Dogs, you name it. I'm defintiely a sucker for unhealthy food at times and i have the craziest sweet tooth.
FAVORITE TIP ON HEALTHY EATING:
Don't force it - I used to eat pizza everyday for lunch in high school with a soda on the side. I barely drink soda anymore and pizza i eat here and there. Start by limiting concentrated sugars and salts (chips, soda, etc.) and just learn to enjoy vegetables, fruits, nuts, legumes, proteins. There is so much you can do with all of these elements and once you realize the endless amounts of possiblities is when you will realize how easy it is to adjust to a healthy eating habit.
