Okay, But WTF Is Paleoish?
The Paleoish lifestyle is…
100% Guilt-free.
Natural, wholesome, good for you.
A challenge that requires work (if you’re up for it).
The Paleoish lifestyle is not…
Your typical cookie-cutter diet plan.
An excuse for a cheat day.
One that expects you to be perfect all the time.
It’s All About Balance
An unconventional way to live.
We get it. It’s no easy feat to commit to living healthier, but here at Paleoish you won’t find a community of perfect health coaches shaming you for wanting a slice of pizza now and then. We are human, after all.
Everything we do is rooted in the idea of balance and freedom. We’re hardcore about the Paleo lifestyle for sure, but we prefer to keep it real and showcase our imperfect ISH side, too, and to empower you to do you. Our guidance, your choice. That’s the beauty of it.
Here’s your roadmap to living out your Paleoish lifestyle. Consider these guidelines as you establish a rhythm that best works for you.
Living Paleoish
Here’s your roadmap to living out your Paleoish lifestyle. Consider these guidelines as you establish a rhythm that best works for you.
01. Paleo at the Foundation
At the foundation of our brand is Paleo. Think: natural foods. You should be focused on foods that nourish you. Foods like vegetables, meat, seafood, fruit, nuts, and seeds. Use this as your true north when faced with food choices. We’re breaking down all the thumbs up and thumbs down foods here.
02. ISH Is All About You
The ISH is all about the choices you make (we’re talkin’ eat and drink!) to create balance during your journey to becoming your best self. While your ISH day is your one day a week to indulge a bit and eat foods that don’t fall within the Paleo guidelines, keep in mind this isn’t a cheat day. Remind yourself why you are doing this in the first place and listen to your body.
03. Give It Time
It takes two weeks to start a habit. With that in mind, know that first and foremost this is a challenge. It’ll be difficult to get started, but if you commit to this change and listen to your body, you’ll be proud of what you can accomplish along the way.
Just a Quick Note: Of course, this isn’t a guarantee. This whole journey starts with you wanting to change, and this determines the amount of ISH foods you should allow yourself. At the end of the day, you can’t have it all. It’ll be hard. It’ll be challenging, but discipline is what makes real change happen.
